Baylins Ballet Classes are closed due to the Covid-19 Virus, as from 18 March. I am so so sorry not to see you as usual, but delighted that we can continue seeing each other via Zoom! What a life line.
RAD Grades and Discovering Repertoire exams were on 27, 28 and 29 November 2019. The results were excellent with 26 Distinctions and 30 High Merits and BBB dancers gained a Distinction overall!!
Congratulations to the Vocational exam dancers in the autumn term: Emily Cozens with A1 and Grace Neary with A2, both obtaining very high Merits.

The 24th International Summer School in Pont l'Abbé, Brittany, IDP, should take place 9-14 August 2020.
Isabella Yiannakis has started at Elmhurst Ballet School starting in September 2019.
Isabel Seymore, Celia Benson, Valentina Walker and Mia Edwards obtained Merits at RAD headquarters for their first Vocational exams, and Madeleine Newington passed with Distinction.

Sam Pitman (also at YDA) and Grace Mary Field have been offered full time places at Central
- Ellie Hennequin has started dancing as a professional with Teatrul de Balet Sibiu in Romania, as from September 2019. She has had to return to the UK and is keeping fit!
- Laurence Elliott is doing extremely well at the Polish National Ballet in Warsaw, and was cast in many creations including Chopin's Concerto in F minor. He introduced the company on World Ballet Day in October 2019 and interviewed his director. He has stayed in Poland.
Holly Williams is in her final year at Bird College and ready to become a professional dancer.
Lucy Malin has been able to get back into traning at Ballet West, following her illness. She has secured a job on a cruise ship, but of course, waiting for the all clear.
What is clear to me, is that your ballet training is developping your resilience, determination and character. I am extreemly proud of you.

Founded in 2003, Baylins Ballet Barn provides all levels of RAD Grades and Vocational exams, as well as non-syllabus classes.
Classes are principally taught by Annik Coatalen, Dip.RBS TTC ARAD, and pianists usually accompany all levels.
The Dance Studio is in a beautiful and historic Grade II listed timber framed barn, specifically restored to the highest standards.
